Our Story

Hi, friends!
This is the story of Akar Tumbuh – it all started from a simple desire to provide a different education, one that focused not only on academics, but also on life skills. We believe that every human being has extraordinary potential, and everyday life is the best teacher who can teach us how to face challenges, communicate well, and become independent individuals.

This journey full of passion and challenges began in 2018, when we started to transform an unproductive yard into a garden and learning space. From that garden, we started opening workshops based on life skills for children, teenagers, and even for adults. We have big dreams to bring change to the future of the Indonesian nation. We don’t just want to build a learning space, but we also want to build a place that is a source of inspiration, a place where everyone feels heard, valued, and encouraged to achieve their dreams.

Every day is a new adventure for us. We will continue to learn together and grow together. We want to see people become more confident, more concerned about the environment around them, and better prepared to face their future.
But our journey is far from over. We continually strive to provide more opportunities and resources for people. We dream of seeing them grow into caring, innovative, and responsible leaders.
