What is Animal Doll?

On this event, we will make animal dolls from flannel material in collaboration with freya house. We will sew and stick the flannel fabric that has been made with the various animal patterns provided. Each participant is given one animal pattern.

Animal Doll Steps

1. Select and Create Patterns : This pattern usually includes several parts such as the body, head, ears, and tail.

2. Cut Flannel Fabric : Cut the flannel according to the pattern that has been made.

3. Sew the Doll Parts : Join the cut pieces of felt together. Sew the outer parts first, such as the head, body, and tail.

4. Fill with Dacron : After the main part of the doll is sewn, insert the dacron slowly into the doll through the unsewn part.

5. Close Open Parts : Once the dacron is inserted and the doll feels soft, sew the open parts carefully.

6. Add Face Details and Decorations : Sew on the eyes, nose, and mouth using thread of the same color. If using doll eyes or other accessories, attach them with hot glue.

7. Finishing : Double-check all the parts of the sewing and make sure everything is neat and strong.
